The Master degree in Architecture provided by the Lisbon School of Architecture aims to give students a set of competences, mostly of project-based nature, that allows them throughout the teaching/learning process, to recognize, question and experiment with ideas, facts and architectural knowledge of a complex and integrating nature. In this process, students operate on human creations, underlined with ways of scientific, humanistic and artistic thinking and expression, linked to territory – both natural and artificial – that we designate as the space inhabited by human beings.
This study is composed by two cycles of studies (mandatory for the professional exercise, by the Portuguese Architects Association). The admission to the 2nd cycle can be done by students that have concluded the 1st cycle in a national homologous study. The procedure is subject to independent applications and places.
