Objectives
At ISEG, you’ll get a two-year master’s programme that complements and builds on the knowledge acquired from a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Its main objectives are to provide every student with an advanced background in economic theory along with the skills and empirical techniques they’ll need to thrive in the current economic reality.
Career prospects
This MSc prepares the students to pursue their careers as economists, researchers and teachers, high ranking staff in firms, banks, international organizations and public institutions.

National Admission Exams
Candidates are entitled to apply if owners of a national or foreign first-cycle college degree in the fields of Economics, Finance, Management and Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management. In accordance with article 17 of the Decree-Law nº74/2006 of 24 March, other applications may be considered as adequate by a selection jury, based on the analysis of their curriculum. The selected applicants will be ranked based on the final first-cycle classification, curricular analysis and an eventual interview.
