Objectives 

The main objective of the MSc course in Forest Engineering and Natural Resources is to train professionals with specialized knowledge to plan and manage forest and agroforestry ecosystems in a sustainable manner, fulfilling socio-economic and environmental objectives; manage adaptively, mitigating the effects of climate change (eg fire and drought); produce woody and non-woody forest products, including game and fish farming; ensure the conservation of forests and associated flora and fauna through sustainable use. Forest and Natural Resources Engineers are professionals who analyze, conceive, design, and guide the implementation of work for the multipurpose development of the forestry sector."

Career prospects 
Organizations related to nature conservation, forest, wildlife and environment management, forestry production, planning and management of parks and nature reserves, wood, pulp, paper and cork industries, scientific research, consulting, auditing, teaching and public administration.

Holders of a degree, or equivalent, obtained in ISA or other higher education institutions, in areas defined for each master; Holding an academic degree of higher education abroad conferred following a 1st cycle of studies in the areas of each master, organized according to the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this process; Holders of a foreign academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of a degree by the Scientific Council of the ISA; Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies by the Scientific Council of the ISA.
