Would you like to be part of a multidisciplinary team of colleagues from other national and foreign universities to work together for a few weeks trying to solve an important challenge related to the sustainability of our oceans?
Topic: Oceans without plastic
Development of innovative technological solutions to characterize and mitigate ocean pollution by plastics, ensuring biodiversity and sustainable reuse of these materials in applications with economic value.
Based on educational concepts developed at TU Darmstadt and applied to the INSPIRED project, the ULISSES project from the University of Lisbon will have its third edition in the second semester of 2022/23 academic year.
For a period of 3 weeks, the students enrolled in the project will be part of an international multidisciplinary team, whose task will be to develop innovative techniques that may contribute to the solution of an important challenge related to the sustainability of the Oceans. The three weeks of teamwork will be preceded by a preparatory phase (via e-learning), which will be compatible with classes in the second semester and will last for 10 weeks.
6 ECTS are awarded to those who complete the course (3 from preparatory phase + 3 from team project phase).
Please note that the recognition of BIP’s ECTS depends on the policies and procedures of the student’s home institution. International Relations office of the student’s home institution is responsible to inform the student about the recognition policy that applies to this programme.
