The Mestrado Degree in Sociology of Organizations and Work offers excellent, in-depth training with a sociological matrix on the transformations and challenges facing organizations and key actors in the world of work, developing research skills and critical analysis, and stimulating innovative intervention in different organizational contexts. The course is intended for people with different educational backgrounds and career perspectives, who wish to intervene or develop research on organizations, work and labour relations in contemporary societies from a sociological perspective.

Objectives 

Develop theoretical, methodological and analytical skills essential for a highly qualified intervention in professional context and for the production of quality research on issues related to organizations and to the transformations of work and labor relations;

Enable students to conduct final research work, articulating it with the research conducted in research centers based in ISCSP, particularly the Center for Administration and Public Policy (CAPP) and the Interdisciplinary Center for Gender Studies (CIEG);

Prepare the students for advanced training, consolidating competences that enable the development of III Cycle studies, namely in the scope of the OpenSoc Interuniversity Doutoramento Degree in Sociology and the Doutoramento Degree in Gender Studies.

National Admission Exams 
Applicants who possess a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent are admitted and allowed to proceed with their enrollment. Holders of a professional or scientific curriculum, duly recognized by the Scientific Council.
