The MGPP - Mestrado Degree in Management and Public Policy prepares students with a solid training in the area, in a multidisciplinary perspective, allows to deepen knowledge, develop skills and research in the areas of Management and Public Policy, Public Administration and Public Governance.
It develops the necessary skills to perform qualified functions in Central, Regional and Local Public Administration, Institutes, Foundations and Public Associations, Non-Profit Organizations, Public and Private Companies and International Organizations. The Mestrado Degree's degree has demonstrated a high and sustained demand at a national and international level, with particular emphasis on the Lusophone space. The environment is highly stimulating and is complemented by the participation of foreign guest speakers and researchers, conferences and other events open to students.
To deepen skills on the subjects of Public Management and Public Policy in its multiple aspects, allowing to strengthen capacities to develop management functions and to participate in bodies of study and implementation, decision-making in Public Administration;
Qualify for public management, developing skills based on the best practices of the public sector, crucial to the study, implementation and evaluation of public policies public administration;
Guide to the Mestrado Degreey of theoretical and practical tools necessary for the application of knowledge in specific areas of Public Management and Public Administration with high levels of professional demand;
Strengthen research skills with advanced theoretical, analytical and methodological perspectives to support the conduct of research projects, strengthening skills for the pursuit of advanced studies (Doutoramento Degree in Public Administration in the Specialties of Administration and Public Policy and Health Administration).
