The Mestrado Degree in African Studies of ISCSP, attentive to the paradigm shift, is based on the training that it provides, in multiple areas of knowledge, thus proposing to equip its students with research skills and critical analysis, which will make them skilled professionals with knowledge about the diversity and complexity of African experiences and realities and committed to good practices of dialogue and cooperation.
The Mestrado Degree is composed of a team of teachers with different experiences and training paths, with projects and partnerships with colleagues and institutions in African terrain, a crossroads of knowledge and collaborations that underpin the vision and innovative approaches that are mirrored in the course programs.
To value African studies and defend its interest in terms of educational offerings;
To underline that Social and Political Sciences are a very valuable platform of observation when it comes to the examination and integrative analyses on the diversity of subjects that matter in the circuit of international, political, socio-cultural and economic issues, in matters concerning Africa;
To equip students with solid knowledge about the complexity of African realities and research and critical analysis skills that will make them competent and committed professionals
