The Ph.D. degree in Psychology aims to develop the capacity for a systematic understanding of psychological science, competencies, skills, and research methods and the ability to conceive, design, adapt, and carry out meaningful research respecting the requirements imposed by the standards of academic quality and integrity in a specific field of Psychology; ability to critically analyze, evaluate and synthesize new and complex ideas; ability to communicate with their peers, the academic community and society in general about the area in which they are specialized; ability to promote, in an academic and/or professional context, technological progress, social or cultural.
The PhD program in Psychology aims to offer the academic community the possibility of advanced training in various fields and applicationsof psychology.The program also promotesdialogue and cooperation with other disciplines, reflecting the thematic and methodological flexibility of Psychology.
