The Mestrado/MSc in Informatics Engineering is a 2 years program that aims at deepening the students knowledge about software construction and computer science in general, qualifying Informatics Engineers fully able to satisfy the quality standards adopted by the international community. In conjunction with the Licenciatura/Bachelor in Informatics Engineering it contitutes a 5 years academic program, organized in a 3+2 structure, that has been certified by Ordem dos Engenheiros, the Portuguese Engineers guild.
