The master’s degree in Contemporary Editorial and typographical Practices seats on two primordial elements of communication design: typography and edition. Typography contains both the notion of font and its design (type design), and reports to its implementation (graphic design). Editing is the way of thinking, publishing and articulating the textual and visual matter (editorial design). The production of differentiating graphic objects, printed or digital,
is stimulated, strongly summoning the use of workshops of typography of movable characters, printmaking and screen printing, in an approach that meets also the practice of the artist’s book and self-publishing.
